Financial Coaching

In addition to our financial classes, we offer financial coaching. These sessions are scheduled with trained lay coaches and not licensed professionals. We do not offer professional financial, investment, or tax advice, but we do offer a path to financial freedom.

Our Coaches and How It Works

Coaches: Our coaches offer a biblically-based foundation for finding financial freedom. Our coaches are not professionally licensed and voluntarily give their time to this ministry

How it Works: If you need additional direction to overcome your unique financial circumstance, we are here to listen and guide you toward a financial plan. You can schedule your first two-hour coaching session online by selecting one of the available dates and times that work for you and completing the online Financial Intake Form. Your coaching session needs to be scheduled at least one week out to give the coaches time to review your form before your coaching session. This form helps our coaches understand where you are now and what your issues and goals are. All information is confidential (reference the Coaching Agreement for more information). You will receive an email or call confirming your appointment.

What a session might look like: You will be warmly welcomed to one of our financial coaching rooms in the Freedom Center by a team of coaches, typically one male and one female. The coaching sessions will always begin and end with prayer. During the first session, the coaches will go over the coaching process, review your Financial Intake Form with you, and discuss your goals. At the end of the session, you can schedule another session with your coach. Most people go through 2-4 sessions to complete their financial plan.

Why do I need a financial coach?

A good financial coach is focused on understanding, teaching, and encouraging you to make informed and wise use of your resources.

  • Understanding - Getting to know you and your unique situation.

  • Teaching - Leveraging trusted principles and strategies as the foundation for recommendations for how to best meet your challenges and achieve your goals.

  • Encouraging - Partnering with you on this journey as a supportive coach and advocate.

We define success in two parts:

  1. Helping you identify and address your financial challenges and goals.

  2. Helping you understand and apply the biblical principles of stewardship and contentment while living out your true purpose.

We will work together to develop an action plan that will address your specific challenges and make progress on achieving your goals in a way that further aligns your financial stewardship with your values.

We guide you toward financial freedom by helping you make informed decisions, set achievable goals, and develop a healthy relationship with money. With a faith-based approach, we believe that financial prosperity is possible for everyone regardless of their current financial situation.
